INTEGRATION WITH MICROSOFT TEAMS

Microsoft Teams allows apps to be integrated. We use this possibility to put a stop to the data chaos and create the framework so that defined on-premise file structures can be accessed within Microsoft Teams.

LINKING TEAMS CHANNELS WITH inPoint

Teams Channels are linked to inPoint files via the administration. After that, all content you add to the channel is automatically synchronized with the inPoint file and vice versa. Through this integration, you can have access to the full functionality of Teams, but store your data in parallel in your designated inPoint files on premise or in the environment you control.

APP-LAUNCHER

Start inPoint Enterprise directly from your AppLauncher and make use of all the functionalities of your Microsoft Teams app as usual. This means, data that you have moved from Teams to inPoint Enterprise (documents, chats, meeting content…) can still be accessed via the Teams interface. In addition, you can access all other e-files directly in Teams, provided you are authorized to do so. No need to leave the Microsoft Teams surface.

VIEW AS TAB

Here the file associated with this channel is displayed and managed directly in Teams. Documents can be added, shared with external or internal employees, sent, and more.

Most importantly, these documents are NOT stored in Microsoft Azure, but are stored and managed in a location of your choice (on-premise or private cloud). Here all your conditions regarding GDPR, access rights etc. will apply.

Existing integration of Outlook on Premise with inPoint Enterprise. The inPoint document management software is deeply integrated into the Microsoft Office world. Therefore, inPoint can be used in parallel as MS Outlook AddIn in addition to the classic standalone client. A good idea, because most of the daily business is organized via e-mail and thus the complete file is at hand.
