Archive
inPoint Email Archiving for IBM Domino checks whether there are emails on the IBM Domino server to which the defined archiving rules apply.
For manual archiving by users, an additional action can be added to the mail database. This means that IBM Domino remains the front end for archiving and retrieval.
Server archiving
Server/server archiving takes place in the background according to freely configurable rules:
- archiving immediately on arrival at the
- IBM Domino mail server
- at predefined times
- Automatically archive e-mails
- when they reach a certain age
- exceed a certain size
- contain a certain subject, or
- come from a specific sender
Maximum transparency
Nothing changes for users. The familiar double-click in the email application is sufficient and e-mails and attachments are available again. The IBM Domino rights system remains intact, of course.
The e-mail preview is also possible at any time after archiving, as is access in offline mode.
Compliance & audit
Documents subject to retention, which also include e-mails, can be provided with a two-stage deletion protection. This ensures that archived emails and documents cannot be deleted from the archive before the set deadline has expired. Journal and long-term archiving, as well as functions for auditors, round off the product.
